How to Buy JDM Cars from Japan – Step-by-Step Guide

This page explains how English-speaking buyers can buy JDM cars from our stock in Japan.

Our main business is to sell cars that we already own in our stock
– AE86, GT-R, Silvia, RX-7, JZX and many other JDM sports and classic cars.

If you already found a car you like on our stock list,
the process is very simple:

1) Tell us who you are and which car you want
2) We send a quote to your nearest port
3) You confirm and pay
4) We arrange export and shipping from Japan

We can also search for a car on request,
but our main service is selling cars from our own stock.

Step 1 – Choose a Car from Our Stock

First, please visit our stock page and choose a car you are interested in.

For each car, please note:

The stock number or URL of the car
Model and basic details (for example: “1999 Nissan Skyline GT-R BNR34”)

When you contact us, please tell us clearly:

“I am interested in this car”
And include the stock number or link

This helps us quickly check availability and condition.

Step 2 – Send Us Your Information

When you contact us, please include:

Your full name
Your country
Your nearest port
- for example: Los Angeles, New York, Vancouver, Sydney, Melbourne, Auckland, Rotterdam, Hamburg, etc.
Your contact details (email, WhatsApp, etc. if available)
The stock number / link of the car you want

You can contact us through:

The inquiry form on this website, or
Direct message from our social media accounts

We reply in English.

Step 3 – We Check the Car and Prepare a Quote

After we receive your message, we will:

Confirm the car is still available
Re-check the condition in our yard as much as possible
- Exterior and interior condition
- Engine bay and underbody (rust, previous repair signs, etc.)
- Modifications and parts

Then we prepare a quotation to your port, including:

Car price in Japan (from our stock)
Our service fee
Estimated costs in Japan
- transport to the loading port
- export paperwork
Estimated shipping cost to your port
(RORO or container, depending on the case)

You will receive:

A clear price breakdown
The total amount to your port (FOB or CIF style, depending on the agreement)

If anything is not clear, you can ask us questions before you decide.

Step 4 – Confirm the Deal

If you agree with:

The car condition
The price and cost breakdown
The shipping plan

then you tell us that you want to proceed with the purchase.

We will issue an invoice showing:

Vehicle details
Total amount to be paid
Our bank account information and payment deadline

Our policy:

Once we both agree on the price of the car in Japan,
we do not ask for surprise price cuts or hidden charges later.

Step 5 – Payment

We usually accept bank transfer to our account in Japan. (paypal ok)
If you would like to use a service such as Wise for international transfer,
please ask us in advance.

Basic points:

Currency is usually Japanese Yen (JPY)
Bank transfer fees on your side are paid by the buyer
We confirm when the full amount reaches our account

After payment is confirmed, the car is officially reserved for you
and we start export preparation.

Step 6 – Export & Shipping from Japan

We arrange:

Transport of the car to the loading port in Japan
Export documents and procedures
Booking with a shipping company or export agent

Depending on your country and the car, we may ship by:

RORO (Roll-on/Roll-off)
Container

We will inform you of:

Estimated departure date and arrival date
Ship name and voyage, as available

Step 7 – Documents You Receive

After the car is shipped, we send you or your agent:

Bill of Lading (B/L)
Japanese export certificate or deregistration documents
Invoice and other documents if needed

You or your local broker will use these to:

Clear customs in your country
Pay import taxes and duties
Register the car for road use according to your local rules

Because regulations are different in each country,
please check with your local customs or importer in advance.

If You Cannot Find the Right Car in Our Stock

Our main business is selling cars from our own stock.
However, if you are looking for a specific model or spec
and you do not see it in our stock list, you can still contact us.

Please tell us:

The exact model you want (for example: “Black 2-door AE86 Trueno, 5MT, factory LSD”)
Your budget and preferred year / mileage

We will let you know:

If we expect a similar car to arrive in our stock soon, or
If we can start looking for one through auctions or partner dealers

In that case, the process may take longer,
but we will keep you updated and explain each step in advance.
